Pick two of the graphics. For each graph: (1)What is the message of each graph? (2) Does the graph accurately communicate the data? (3) Draw an alternative graph that better displays the information.

Choose a nutrient (sugar, iron, fiber, etc.) that you're interested in studying. Pick 12 cereals and find the amount of nutrient in a single serving of each cereal. Display the distribution and comment on (1) a typical value (2) the spread of the values, (3) the shape, and (4) any unusual characteristics of the distribution.

Pick a sport (baseball or basketball) and find two players that you are interested in comparing. Find an interesting statistic, such as batting average or shooting percentage.
